Nonverbal communication in Russian and Spanish linguocultures

Abstract

Проведенное нами исследование затрагивает проблему невербальной коммуникации, а точнее ее проявления и особенности в русской и испанской лингвокультурах. Структура работы включает в себя три главы. Первая глава посвящена теоретическим основам понятия невербальной коммуникации, ее связи со смежными науками, краткому экскурсу в историю их обособления в самостоятельные дисциплины и общим положениям, касающимся данной темы. Во второй главе представлены элементы, которые включает в себя невербальная коммуникация, также дана характеристика каждого из них. Третья глава представляет собой практическое исследование испанских и русских жестов, как отдельного, крайне значимого элемента невербальной коммуникации, помимо этого, в этой главе приведен сравнительно-описательный анализ некоторых из жестов. В результате проделанной работы мы пришли к следующим важным выводам: 1) невербальные проявления существенно влияют на восприятие сообщения, передаваемого коммуникатором; 2) в рамках каждого компонента невербальной коммуникации можно наблюдать различия между их проявлением в испанской и русской культурах; 3) знание жестикуляционных особенностей обеих культур делает процесс межкультурной коммуникации эффективнее.

Our research touches on the problem of nonverbal communication, or rather its traits and features in Russian and Spanich linguocultures. The structure of the work includes three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical bases of the concept of nonverbal communication, its coherence with related sciences, a brief insight into the history of its split-off into independent disciplines and general provisions relating to this topic. The chapter two gives information about the elements that nonverbal communication consists of, as well as the description of each of them. The third chapter represents practical investigation of Spanish and Russian gestures as a separate and extremely important element of nonverbal communication, in addition, a comparative-descriptive analysis of some of the gestures is given in this chapter. As a result, we came to the following most important conclusions: 1) the nonverbal traits significantly affect the perception of the message transmitted by the communicator; 2) in the frame of each component of nonverbal communication we can see the differences between its traits in Spanish and Russian cultures; 3) knowing the gestural features of both cultures leads to the more effective process of intercultural communication.
