Actualisation and interpretation of the Spanish female image in the modern Russian culture as illustrated by "Volver", a film by Pedro Almodóvar.

Abstract

Работа посвящена изучению восприятия образа испанки в русской культуре на материале фильма Педро Альмодовара "Возвращение". Основная гипотеза работы заключается в том, что образ, созданный испанским режиссером актуализируется в сознании представителя русской культуры под влиянием различных факторов. Основной задачей работы было установить, как русские зрители интерпретируют образ главной героини фильма "Возвращение" и какие инструменты межкультурной коммуникации влияют на формирование образа в сознании зрителя. Методом к прочтению образа послужил семиотический подход, визуальный образ исследован в качестве системы знаков. ВКР состоит из трех глав, первая посвящена теоретической составляющей работы и оговариванию основной терминологии, используемой в работе. Вторая глава посвящена репрезентации женщины в испанском кино. Третья глава посвящена анализу образа главной героини и установлению интерпретации последней русским зрителем.

The thesis is dedicated to the image of Spanish woman in Russian culture. The research is made on the material of movie "Volver" directed by Pedro Almodovar. The main hypothesis is that the image created by Spanish director pass through different factors and transform into another image in the mind of Russian audience. The main goal of the work was to define how Russian audience interpreted image of the main character of the movie and which cross cultural communication implements influenced the process of interpretation. The method to analyze the image was semiotic approach, the visual image was analyzed as a system of signs. The thesis consists of three parts, the first is dedicated to the theoretical base of the work with the highlighting of terminology used on the paper. The second chapter is dedicated to the representation of woman in Spanish movie. The third chapter is dedicated to analyzes of the main character image and its interpretation by Russian audience.
