The prose of Milorad Pavić and Russian literary classics ("Landscape Painted with Tea" and "Unique Item")

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена анализу интертекстуальных связей романов М. Павича «Пейзаж, нарисованный чаем» и «Уникальный романе» с русской литературой и культурой. «Русские» интертекстуальные мотивы в романах М. Павича рассматриваются в их взаимосвязи с другими приёмами постмодернистской поэтики писателя. В работе проводится разделение «русских» мотивов на литературные и культурологические. В итоге демонстрируется, что, с одной стороны, «русские» интертексты включаются в романах в постмодернистскую «игру ради игры». С другой стороны, русская классика для сербского писателя выступает в качестве литературных образцов, позволяющих соединить постмодернистскую форму с метафизическими и философскими смыслами. Диссертация предназначена для филологов и студентов гуманитарных наук.

This dissertation is dedicated to the question of the meaning and importance of the “russian” intertexts in the novels “Landscape Painted with Tea” and “Unique Item” of M. Pavich. The subject of russian motives is highlighted in terms of the postmodern approach, using the method of intertextual analysis. We divided "russian" motives into literary and cultural motives. On the other side, russian literature classics had a great literature impact on the prose of Pavich. Serbian writer, influenced by the russian classics, learned how to represent postmodernism figures by giving them a meaning more philosophical and metaphysical This dissertation is focused on the necessities of philologists and students of literature.
