Effective techniques for management of ethno-territorial conflicts in the post-Soviet states: A study of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh

Abstract

В работе рассматривается специфика этнотерриториальных конфликтов на постсоветском пространстве, в частности, вооруженного конфликта в Нагорном Карабахе. Анализируются понятия этнотерриториального конфликта, приводится их типология. Описываются особенности эффективных технологий управления этнотерриториальными конфликтами на постсоветском пространстве. Также в работе проводится анализ генезиса конфликта в Нагорном Карабахе, на основании которого предлагается несколько возможных сценариев эффективного управления вооруженным конфликтом в Нагорном Карабахе.

Specifics of the ethnoterritorial conflicts in the former Soviet Union, in particular, of armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh are considered in this study. Concepts of the ethnoterritorial conflict are analyzed, their typology is given. Features of effective technologies in management of the ethnoterritorial conflicts in the former Soviet Union are described. Also in the study the analysis of genesis of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh on the basis of which several possible scenarios of effective management of armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh are offered is carried out.
