Historical and philosophical premises underlying the idea of European integration

Abstract

В работе рассматриваются предпосылки идеи европейской интеграции на материале философских сочинений эпохи Просвещения и XIX века. В историко-философском контексте исследуются два основных поля интеграции - политико-правовое, связанное с проблемой вечного мира, и культурное, относящееся к вопросу о европейской идентификации. Выявленные предпосылки анализируются с точки зрения современной социально-политической ситуации, с привлечением современной философской литературы в качестве комментария.

The paper deals with the premises of European integration on the material of philosophical works of the Enlightenment and XIX century. Two main spheres of integration are examined in the context of the history of philosophy - the "politics and law" one, connected with the problem of eternal peace, and the cultural one, related to the issue of European identity. The detected premises are analysed from the current social and political situation's point of view, with the contemporary philosophical works as a comment.
