Critical realism in theoretical sociology

Abstract

В данной работе особое внимание уделяется ответу на вопрос о том, могут ли основные положения критического реализма быть переосмыслены в социологии так, чтобы созданная на их основе теория смогла преодолеть ограничения, связанные с классическим пониманием проблемы структуры/агентности. В качестве таких теорий рассматриваются теория структурации Э. Гидденса и теория морфогенеза М, Арчер.

In this paper, special attention is paid to the answer to the question of whether the main ideas of Critical Realism can be rethought in sociology so that the theory created on their basis could overcome the limitations associated with the classical understanding of the structure/agency problem. Such theories are A. Giddens' theory of structuration and the theory of morphogenesis of M. Archer.
