Social representations of daughtrers-in-law and mothers-in-law about their relationships

Abstract

Проведено исследование представлений невесток и свекровей о сложившихся между ними взаимоотношениях и желаемых взаимоотношениях, проанализирован ряд факторов, влияющих на эти отношения влияющие. Выборку составили 109 женщины, из них 79 невесток и 30 свекровей, а также 31 муж/сын. С помощью авторской анкеты были рассмотрены особенности образа идеальной невестки и свекрови. Изучены представления о реальном и идеальном партнере по взаимоотношениям в диаде невестка-свекровь. Выявлены наиболее значимые в аспекте влияния на взаимоотношения личностные качества, а также стили поведения в конфликтных ситуациях. Определены преобладающие чувства во взаимоотношениях невесток и свекровей. Для статистического анализа был применен коэффициента корреляции Пирсона. Выявлено, что на взаимоотношения невесток и свекровей влияют такие качества, как оптимизм, экстраверсия, эмоциональная стабильность, спокойствие. Реальный партнер по взаимоотношениям в диаде невестка-свекровь воспринимается во многом противоположным идеальному образу. На отношения невесток и свекровей влияет стаж в браке невестки и количество детей у свекрови. Существует связь между семейным статусом респонденток и их представлением о реальном и идеальном партнере диады невестка-свекровь. В целом, свекрови в большей мере удовлетворены своими отношениями с невесткой, чем невестки – со свекровью.

The research of the vision of daughter-in-law and mother-in-law of the existing relationship between them and the desired relationship was conducted, analyzed a number of factors influencing on these relationships. The sample included 109 women, 79 daughters-in-law, 30 mothers-in-law and 31 husbands/son. With the author's questionnaire were examined features of the real and the perfect daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. Were studied the representation of the real and the ideal partner in the relationship in the daughter-in-law - mother-in-law dyad. Revealed the most significant in terms of impact on the relationship between daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law personality traits and styles of behavior in conflict situations. Determined the prevailing feelings in relationships of daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. For statistical analysis, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used. It was revealed that on the relations between them affects qualities such as optimism, extraversion, emotional stability, tranquility. A real partner of relationship in the daughter-in-law - mother-in-law dyad is perceived as the opposite to an ideal image. The relationship between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law is affected by the duration of the marriage of the daughter-in-law and the number of the mother-in-law's children. There is a connection between family status of the respondents and their vision of the real and the ideal partner in daughter-in-law - mother-in-law dyad. In general, mothers-in-law are more satisfied with their relationship with the daughter-in-law than daughters-in-law with mother-in-law.
