Problem of the resilience of the EAEU in the conditions of sanctions regimes against the member-states

Abstract

Евразийский экономический союз как интеграционная система имеет свои ресурсы и внутренние противоречия, что позволяет рассматривать его с позиции концепции стрессоустойчивости. Существующие ограничения в отношении Беларуси и России оказались чувствительны и для партнеров по ЕАЭС и стали вызовом для системы. Данное исследование посвящено анализу стрессоустойчивость ЕАЭС в условиях санкций: выявлению сильных и слабых сторон объединения с точки зрения его стрессоустойчивости, и прогнозированию его возможностей и потенциальных рисков для дальнейшего развития интеграции.

The Eurasian Economic Union as an integration system has its own resources and internal contradictions, which makes it possible to consider it from the perspective of the concept of resilience. The existing restrictions on Belarus and Russia turned out to be sensitive for the EAEU partners as well and became a challenge for the system. This research is devoted to analyzing the resilience of the EAEU in the context of sanctions: identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the association and predicting its capabilities and potential risks for further development of integration
