Development of the Brand Concept of the City Cherepovets

Abstract

Данная работа специализируется на исследовании в области брендинга городов и разработке концепции бренда города Череповца. Все больше областей и городов России разрабатывает собственные бренды, чтобы быть более конкурентоспособными, однако далеко не все бренды становятся успешными. Целью данной работы является разработка концепции бренда города Череповца, на основе проведенного исследования особенностей города, а также формирование рекомендаций по внедрению бренда. В работе были проанализированы подходы к брендингу городов и определено понятие концепции бренда. Также были рассмотрены этапы разработки бренда и лучшие практики брендинга городов в мире и России. Далее был проанализирован город Череповец, выделены его сильные и слабые стороны, рассмотрен стратегический план развития города и его стейкхолдеры. После был проведен опрос населения и эмпирическое исследование городской идентичности. В результате исследования была сформирована концепция бренда города Череповца, а также разработаны рекомендации по внедрению бренда города и показатели его эффективности.

This paper specializes in research in the field of city branding and the development of a brand concept for the city of Cherepovets. More and more regions and cities in Russia are developing their own brands to be more competitive, but not all brands become successful. The purpose of this paper is to develop a brand concept of the city of Cherepovets, based on the research conducted on the features of the city, as well as the formation of recommendations for the implementation of the brand. The paper analyzed the approaches to city branding and defined the concept of brand concept. The stages of brand development and best practices of city branding in the world and Russia were also considered. Then the city of Cherepovets was analyzed, its strengths and weaknesses were highlighted, the strategic plan of the city development and its stakeholders were considered. After that, a population survey and an empirical study of the city identity were conducted. As a result of the research, the concept of the Cherepovets city brand was formed, as well as recommendations on the implementation of the city brand and indicators of its effectiveness were developed.
