The modern spatial and planning structure of the Cheboksary agglomeration

Работа посвящена выявлению основных факторов, сформировавших пространственную и планировочную структуру Чебоксарской агломерации. Изучены существующие подходы и принципы выделения городских агломераций в современной пространственной науке, проанализированы спутниковые снимки за 1991-2023 гг., выявлены основные тренды в развитии планировочной структуры на основе анализа генеральных планов и стратегических документов городов, определены основные социально-экономические тенденции развития Чебоксарской агломерации, оценена трансформация пространственной и планировочной структуры.

The work is devoted to identifying the main factors that formed the spatial and planning structure of the Cheboksary agglomeration. The existing approaches and principles for identifying urban agglomerations in modern spatial science were studied, satellite images for 1991-2023 were analyzed, the main trends in the development of the planning structure were identified based on the analysis of master plans and strategic documents of cities, the main socio-economic trends in the development of the Cheboksary agglomeration were identified, the transformation of the spatial and planning structure was assessed.
