The assessment of the urban environment quality of the Liteyny Okrug municipality in St Petersburg

Abstract

В исследовании приведены новые для внутригородского муниципального образования Литейный округ подходы к оценке качества городской среды. Работа проводилась на основе территориальной дифференциации следующих критериев по выявленным автором подзонам: для жилого фонда, пространств общего пользования и для социальной сферы. После обсчета перечисленных показателей подзоны ранжировались по относительному принципу. Итоговым результатом оценивания качества городской среды для каждой из подзон будут визуальный профиль рангов по всем показателям и соотношение доли лимитирующих критериев к остальным.

The study presents new approaches to assessing the quality of the urban environment for the municipal unit Liteyny Okrug. The work was based on territorial differentiation of the following criteria according to the subzones identified by the author: for housing, public spaces and for the social sphere. After calculating the listed indicators, the subzones were ranked according to the relative principle. The final result of assessing the quality of the urban environment for each of the subzones will be a visual profile of the ranks for all indicators and the ratio of the share of limiting criteria to the rest.
