The borates of alkaline earth metals and Bi3+: crystal structure, thermal behaviour and optical properties

Abstract

Были синтезированы 3 новых перспективных люминофора (CaBi2B4O10:Eu3+, BaBi2B4O10:Eu3+, Sr2CaBi(YO)3(BO3)4:Eu3+) и серия новых нелинейно-оптических твердых растворов (Ca1-xSrx)4NdO(BO3)3. Исследованы люминесцентные, нелинейно-оптические свойства, решены и уточнены их кристаллические структуры, измерена и интерпретирована анизотропия термического расширения. Предположительно установлено одно новое химическое соединение Sr2CaBi(EuO)3(BO3)4 и впервые решена и уточнена кристаллическая структура соединения CaBi2B4O10.

3 new promising phosphors were synthesized (CaBi2B4O10:Eu3+, BaBi2B4O10:Eu3+, Sr2CaBi(YO)3(BO3)4:Eu3+) and a series of new nonlinear optical solid solutions (Ca1-xSrx)4NdO(BO3)3. Luminescent, nonlinear optical properties are investigated, their crystal structures are solved and refined, the anisotropy of thermal expansion is measured and interpreted. Presumably, one new chemical compound Sr2CaBi(EuO)3(BO3)4 has been established and the crystal structure of the compound CaBi2B4O10 has been solved and refined for the first time.
