Language means of characterisation of animals in Ivan Krylov’s fables

Abstract

В работе рассматриваются языковые средства, участвующие в создании образов животных в баснях Крылова . Анализ проводится с учётом компонентов текста, представляющих собой авторское повествование и речевую характеристику персонажа. Делается вывод о том, что языковые средства, участвующие в создании образов животных, используются для более полного раскрытия нравственной проблематики басни, служат основной цели басни – обличению человеческих пороков и недостатков, выразителями которых выступают аллегорические персонажи животные.

The article deals with the linguistic means involved in the creation of images of animals in Krylov's fables. The analysis is carried out taking into account the components of the text, which are the author's narration and speech characteristics of the character. The conclusion is made that the linguistic means involved in the creation of images of animals are used to more fully disclose the moral problems of the fable, serve the main purpose of the fable - the exposure of human vices and flaws, the expression of which are allegorical animal characters.
