Corporeality in the Vladimir Sorokin’s works

Abstract

Настоящая работа посвящена изучению телесного начала в творчестве Владимира Сорокина. Материалом работы являются следующие произведения автора: «Норма», «Очередь», «Тридцатая любовь Марины», «Сердца четырех», «Роман», «Ледяная трилогия», «Первый субботник», «Пир». Актуальность обусловлена отсутствием многогранного анализа категории телесности в творчестве автора. В ходе работы: 1) изучено понятие телесности, его трактовки в различных теоретических построениях и школах, собран определенный набор ее критериев, являющийся общим для различных подходов; 2) на базе полученного теоретического материала рассмотрено изображение телесности в русской классической литературе для сопоставления этих результатов со спецификой изображения телесности в литературных текстах В. Сорокина; 3) выявлено, что в стремлении уйти от телесного как преобладающего в человеческой природе, В. Сорокин проводит переосмысление и деконструкцию классической для русской литературы поэтики телесного начала; 4) выделены основные особенности произведений автора в аспекте деконструкции и трансформации человеческого начала, а также создан перечень характеристик человека кардинально новой телесности В. Сорокина.

This work is devoted to the study of the bodily principle in the works of Vladimir Sorokin. The material of the graduation work is the following: "Norm", "Queue", "Marina's Thirtieth love", "Hearts of four", "Novel", "Ice Trilogy", "The First Subbotnik" and "Feast". The relevance is due to the lack of a multifaceted analysis of the category of physicality in the author's work. During the graduation work: 1) the concept of physicality has been studied, its interpretations in various theoretical approaches and schools, a certain set of its criteria has been collected, which is common to various approaches; 2) based on the theoretical material obtained the image of corporeality in Russian classical literature is considered to compare these results with the specifics of the image of corporeality in V. Sorokin's literary texts; 3) it is proved that in an effort to get away from the corporeal as predominant in human nature, V. Sorokin conducts a rethinking and deconstruction of the classical for Russian literature poetics of the corporeal principle; 4) the main features of the author's works in the aspect of deconstruction and transformation of the human principle are highlighted and a list of characteristics of a person of a new physicality by V. Sorokin is created.
