Trends and directions of modern Russian word formation: A case study of the dictionary "New in Russian vocabulary. Dictionary materials - 2020"

Abstract

Работа посвящена описанию неологизмов с корнем зум- и zoom-. Появление этих новых слов связано с появлением новых реалий, которые связаны с новыми технологиями. Появление новых слов свидетельствует об актуальности тех явлений, которые фиксируют эти новые слова. Данное исследование выполнено в русле неологии и неографии, так как описаны словообразовательные модели новых слов, которые появились в эпоху дистанционного обучения и дистанционной работы. Также проведен эксперимент Lexical decision task с респондентами-филологами на предмет опознавания ими неологизмов. Материал исследования берется из словаря «Новое в русской лексике. Словарные материалы 2020».

The work is devoted to the description of neologisms with the root zoom-. The emergence of these new words is associated with the emergence of new realities that are associated with new technologies. The appearance of new words testifies to the relevance of the phenomena that fix these new words. This study was carried out in line with neology and neography, as the word-formation models of new words that appeared in the era of distance learning and distance work are described. A Lexical decision task experiment was also conducted with philological respondents to identify neologisms by them. The research material is taken from the dictionary "New in Russian vocabulary. Dictionary materials 2020".
