Transformation of the political myth

Abstract

Настоящая работа посвящена рассмотрению феномена политического мифа во множестве его практических и теоретических проявлений. Её актуальность согласуется с непрекращающейся практикой построения символической политики и участия в ней политических акторов-мифотворцев. Целью исследования является анализ подходов к интерпретации политического мифа и роли данного феномена в дискурсе современного социально-политического пространства. Автор использует структурно-функциональный подход. В первой главе приведены подходы к определению феномена политического мифа, на основе которых сформировалась современная структура политического мифа. Здесь же рассматриваются функции и базовые понятия явления. Во второй главе исследуется практика мифотворчества в современных политических коммуникациях и роль мифа в конструировании национальной идентичности.

This work is devoted to the consideration of the phenomenon of political myth in a variety of its practical and theoretical manifestations. Its relevance is consistent with the ongoing practice of constructing symbolic politics and the participation in it of political actors-myth-creators. The aim of the study is to analyze approaches to the interpretation of the political myth and the role of this phenomenon in the discourse of the modern socio-political space. The author uses a structural-functional approach. The first chapter presents approaches to the definition of the phenomenon of the political myth, on the basis of which the modern structure of the political myth was formed. The functions and basic concepts of the phenomenon are also considered here. The second chapter examines the practice of myth-making in modern political communications and the role of myth in the construction of national identity.
