Sociolinguistic politics of modern Galicia

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена изучению социолингвистической ситуации в современной Галисии. В качестве материала для анализа были использованы ответы галисийцев на вопросы, связанные с положением галисийского языка в разных сферах деятельности в Галисии. В работе рассматриваются особенности, с которыми сталкиваются миноритарные языки, в частности галисийский, и исторические события, повлиявшие на становление галисийского языка. Также исходя из опроса, проведенного среди галисийцев, рассматривается роль галисийского языка в современном обществе, в сферах образования, медицины, искусства.

This work is devoted to the study of the sociolinguistic situation in modern Galicia. The answers of Galicians to questions related to the position of the Galician language in various spheres of activity in Galicia were used as material for analysis. The work examines the features faced by minority languages, in particular Galician, and the historical events that influenced the formation of the Galician language. Also, based on a survey conducted among Galicians, the role of the Galician language in modern society, in the fields of education, medicine, and art is considered.
