Ethnographic tourism in the Volga Region as a way of revival and preservation of ethnocultural heritage

Abstract

В современном мире проблема сохранения этнокультурного наследия и многообразия народов, этносов и племенных сообществ стоит очень остро. Процессы глобализации, научно-техническое развитие, рост информационных нагрузок способствуют интеграции народов, что в свою очередь становится угрозой для их самобытной культуры. Если принять во внимание тот факт, что туристическая отрасль в России с каждым годом все активнее развивается, то такой вид туризма как этнографический становится одним из перспективных направлений. Эта тенденция наблюдается и в таком регионе как Поволжье, который обладает уникальными ресурсами для развития этнического туризма.

In the modern world the problem of preservation of ethnocultural heritage and variety of the people, ethnoses and breeding communities is particularly acute very much. Globalization processes, scientific and technical development, growth of information loadings promote integration of the people that in turn becomes threat for their original culture. If to take into account the fact that the tourist branch in Russia develops more and more actively every year, then such type of tourism as ethnographic becomes one of the perspective directions. This tendency is observed also in such region as the Volga region which has unique resources for development of ethnic tourism.
