Evolution of techniques for copying sculpture

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация «Эволюция методик копирования скульптуры» посвящена исследованию проблем копирования скульптурных произведений, установленных на открытом воздухе. Диссертация представлена в одном томе, включающем в себя: Введение, две главы, Заключение, Список литературы, иллюстрации и Приложения. Во Введении представлены актуальность исследование, степень разработанности проблемы, объект и предмет исследования, цель и задачи исследования, методика и методы исследования, научная новизна работы, практическая значимость работы, границы исследования, гипотеза, вынесенные на защиту положения, структура диссертации. В Главе 1 «Копирование как метод сохранения скульптурных произведений» диссертации рассматривается эволюция взглядов и методик на проблему копирования, традиционные материалы для создания копий и современные методы копирования. В Главе 2 «Мониторинг состояния сохранности копий скульптурных произведений» диссертации дан анализ состояния сохранности копий и причины их разрушений. К исследованию привлечены копии из Некрополя XVIII века и Некрополя Мастеров искусств, копии скульптур каскада «Шахматная гора» ГМЗ «Петергоф» и копии Верхнего и Нижнего парка Ораниенбаума из собрания ГМЗ «Петергоф». В Заключении приведены выводы о истории формирования методик и методов копирования, обобщены виды и причины разрушений анализируемых копий. В Приложениях представлены таблицы с мониторингом состояния копий Некрополя XVIII века и Некрополя Мастеров искусств, копий каскада «Шахматная гора» ГМЗ «Петергоф» и копий Верхнего и Нижнего парка Ораниенбаума из собрания ГМЗ «Петергоф», где указаны наименование и краткое описание, состояние сохранности скульптуры, номер госкаталога и учетные номера, год копирования и материал.

The master's thesis "Evolution of copying techniques for sculpture" is devoted to the study of the problems of copying sculptural works installed outdoors. The dissertation is presented in one volume, which includes: Introduction, two chapters, Conclusion, List of References, illustrations, and Appendices. The Introduction presents the relevance of the research, the degree of development of the problem, the object and subject of research, the purpose and objectives of the study, research methodologies and methods, the scientific novelty of the work, the practical significance of the work, the scope of research, the hypothesis, the defended provisions, the structure of the thesis. Chapter 1 "Copying as a method of preservation of a works of sculpture" of the dissertation considers the evolution of views and methods on the problem of copying, traditional materials for making copies and modern methods of copying. In Chapter 2 "Monitoring the state of preservation of copies of a works of sculpture" of the dissertation analyzes the state of preservation of copies and the causes of their destruction. The copies from the 18th-century Necropolis and the Necropolis of the Masters of Arts, copies of sculptures from the Cascade "Chess Mountain" of the "Peterhof" State Museum Reserve, and copies of the Upper and Lower Park of Oranienbaum from the collection of the "Peterhof" State Museum Reserve were studied. The Conclusion contains conclusions about the history of the formation of copying methodologies and methods, summarizes the types and causes of destruction of the analyzed copies. The Appendices contain tables monitoring the condition of copies of the 18th-century Necropolis and Necropolis of the Masters of Art, copies of the Cascade "Chess Mountain" of the "Peterhof" State Museum Reserve, and copies of the Upper and Lower Park of Oranienbaum from the collection of the "Peterhof" State Museum Reserve, showing the name and brief description, state of conservation of the sculpture, state catalog numbers and account numbers, year of copying, material.
