The effectiveness of developing warplands: a case study of St Petersburg

Abstract

В работе представлен детальный анализ российского и зарубежного опыта развития проектов намывных территорий, выделены цели формирования намыва. В частности обозначена проблема отсутствия статистических данных и выполнен сравнительный анализ площадей намывных территорий стран мира методом ручного счета. Проведена градостроительная, экологическая и социальная оценка составляющих с целью комплексного рассмотрения развития намывных территорий. В результате продемонстрирован расчет коммерческой и бюджетной эффективности исследуемой территории на примере Васильевского острова Санкт-Петербурга.

The paper presents a detailed analysis of Russian and foreign experience in the development of projects of alluvial territories, the goals of alluvial formation are highlighted. In particular, the problem of the lack of statistical data is identified and a comparative analysis of the areas of alluvial territories of the countries of the world by manual counting is performed. Urban planning, environmental and social assessment of the components was carried out in order to comprehensively consider the development of alluvial territories. As a result, the calculation of commercial and budgetary efficiency of the studied territory is demonstrated on the example of Vasilievsky Island of St. Petersburg.
