Video stabilisation via 3D scene modelling

Abstract

Цель настоящей работы заключается в улучшении метода стабилизации видеофрагмента с помощью реконструкции 3D-сцены. В ходе работы был модифицирован алгоритм построения и фильтрации соответствий характерных точек, с помощью которых производится реконструкция 3D-сцены с вычислением положения камеры в каждом кадре. Также была реализована метрика, позволяющая сравнивать качество реконструируемой сцены различных модификаций алгоритма реконструкции сцены.

The objective of this work is improving the method of stabilizing a video fragment using 3D-scene reconstruction. During the work, the algorithm of generating and filtering matches of the keypoints has been modified. This algorithm are using for 3D-scene reconstruction and calculation of the camera position in each frame. In addition, the metric has been implemented for compare the quality of the reconstructed scenes of different modifications of the scene reconstruction algorithm.
