| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | An empirical study is devoted to the study of the understanding of emoji by children with intellectual disabilities. The first section reflects the theoretical foundations of this problem, discusses the relationship between emoji and emotions in written speech, explores the theoretical aspects of understanding emotions by schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities, studies sensitive periods in the development of the perception of non-verbal information, as well as the diagnostic features of understanding emotions by schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities. The second section describes the study model, its methods and procedure. The third section is devoted to practical research, the features of emoji perception by high school students with impaired intelligence are studied in comparison with high school students with intact intelligence. The following data were obtained: older students with intellectual disabilities are less likely to correctly interpret emoji than students with intellectual disabilities, it is more difficult for them to encode and decipher graphically depicted emotions, and in general it is difficult to determine the emotions of other people by facial expressions. At the same time, the interpretation of emoji and emotions is influenced not only by the preservation of intelligence, but also by age in combination with intelligence. It was found that the “gender” factor practically does not affect the perception of emoji, but girls are easier than men to select emoji for the message; they also more easily interpret love as an emotion. Dependence on the integrated factor of age and intelligence was revealed in the interpretation of individual emotions: for example, the older the student and the higher his level of intelligence, the easier it is to interpret the emotions "sadness" and "anger". | en_GB |
