Antioch Cantemir's satires in the сhurch-biblical context

Abstract

Исследование посвящено анализу первых пяти сатир А. Д. Кантемира в церковно-библейском контексте. В основу работы положена гипотеза о том, что первая и окончательная редакции сатир представляют собой систему оппозиций: образы первой редакции чаще всего тяготеют к нравоучительным рассуждениям о постулатах веры (библейскому контексту в широком смысле) и изобилуют образами, имеющими прямое отношение к Библии (библейскому контексту в узком смысле); а образы второй редакции либо теряют проповеднический пафос и тяготеют к церковному быту, либо вовсе исключаются из текста сатир и примечаний. На основании исследования делаются выводы о специфике бытования библейского и церковного контекста в первых пяти сатирах и автокомментариях к ним А.Д. Кантемира в первой и окончательной редакции, а также выявляются основные тенденции изменений, происходящие в двух редакциях первых пяти сатир.

The work studies the analysis of the first five satires by A. D. Cantemir in the church and biblical context. The work is based on the hypothesis that the first and final editions of satires are a system of oppositions. In the first edition the images most often gravitate towards moralizing arguments about the postulates of faith (the biblical context in the broad sense) and they also abound with images directly related to the Bible (the biblical context in the narrow sense). However, the images of the second edition either lose their preaching pathos and gravitate toward church life, or they are completely excluded from the text of satires and notes. Based on the study, the author draws a conclusion about the specifics of the existence of the biblical and church context in the first five satires and autocomments to them by A. D. Cantemir in the first and final editions, as well as about the main trends of changes occurring in the two editions of the first five satires.
