A Narrative Approach to Personal Identity in Virtue Ethics

Abstract

Работа посвящена исследованию этики добродетели с позиций нарративного подхода. По ходу исследования мы предприняли попытку создания более удовлетворительных описаний сущности добродетели. Решение этой проблемы было разбито на три основных части: 1) реконструкция исторических истоков этики добродетели; 2) перевод идей этиков добродетели ХХ века в нарративвные термины; 3) определения степени адекватности нарративного подхода этике добродетели, нахождение дополнительных сфер его применения сформулировать понятную схему такого метода. Проделав этот путь, мы пришли к нескольким выводам. В исторической перспективе обосновали включение текстов Фуко и восточных перипатетиков в дискурс. Нами была разработана трёхчастная схема нарративного анализа ‘тики добродетели. Также показаны были преимущества рассмотрения эстетики и философии сознания через такой анализ.

he work is devoted to the study of the ethics of virtues from the standpoint of narrative acceptance. In the course of the study, we undertook the creation of more characteristic descriptions of the essence of virtue. The solution to this problem was divided into three main parts: 1) reconstruction of the structure of the origins of virtue ethics; 2) translating the ideas of the ethics of virtue of the twentieth century into narrative terms; 3) determining the adequacy of the narrative application of virtue ethics, finding an extended scope of its application to formulate an understandable scheme of such a method. Having done this way, we came to conclusions. Probably justified the inclusion of the texts of Foucault and the Eastern Peripatetics in the discourse. We have developed a three-part scheme for the narrative analysis of virtue ethics. The benefits of considering the aesthetics and philosophy of mind through such an analysis have also been identified.
