Military-political alliances as a tool of the US foreign policy strategy in the Asia-Pacific region in 2000-2010

Abstract

В представленной работе рассматривается проблема использования военно-политических союзов США с Японией, Республикой Корея и Австралией в качестве механизмов внешнеполитической стратегии США в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе в 2000-2010 гг. Работа состоит из введения, включающего в себя обзор литературы по указанной теме, трех глав, заключения и списка использованных источников и литературы. Методология исследования включает в себя конструктивистский подход, контент-анализ, использование кейс-стади и других методов научного познания для достижения поставленной цели и задач исследования. В заключение работы автор приходит к выводу о наличии общих разделяемых смыслов и коллективной идентичности между США и союзниками в АТР, позволяющих использование их США на этом основании в качестве механизмов своей внешнеполитической стратегии в регионе в XXI веке с целью сохранения своего статуса лидера в Сан-Францисской системе.

The presented paper examines the problem of using the US military-political alliances with Japan, the Republic of Korea and Australia as tools of the US foreign policy strategy in the Asia-Pacific region in 2000-2010. The paperwork consists of an introduction, which includes a review of the literature on this topic, three chapters, a conclusion and references. The research methodology includes a constructivist approach, content analysis, the use of case studies and other methods of scientific cognition in order to achieve the set goals and objectives of the study. In the conclusion, the author comes to the conclusion that there are common shared meanings and collective identity between the United States and its allies in the Asia-Pacific region, allowing the United States to use them on this basis as the tools for its foreign policy strategy in the region in the XXI century in order to preserve its status as a leader in the San Francisco system.
