Adaptation strategies for the translation of the English literary fairy tale of the "Golden Age" into the Russian language

Abstract

Тема выпускной квалификационной работы: Стратегии адаптации при переводе английской литературной сказки «Золотого века» на русский язык. Цель выпускной квалификационной работы: определение особенностей использования различных стратегий адаптации при переводе английской литературной сказки «Золотого века» на русский язык. Объект выпускной квалификационной работы: английская литературная сказка «Золотого века». Общий объем выпускной квалификационной работы составляет 88 страниц, было использовано 77 источников. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, сопровождаемых выводами, заключения, списка использованной литературы, списка сокращений источников и приложения, включающего шесть диаграмм. В первой главе исследования были изучены особенности художественной литературы для детей и выявлены основные характеристики английской литературной сказки «Золотого века». Также были рассмотрены основные стратегии адаптации при переводе художественной литературы на русский язык. Во второй главе исследования был проведен сравнительно-сопоставительный анализ различных переводов английских литературных сказок «Золотого века» на русский язык. В рамках основных стратегий адаптации были выявлены наиболее часто используемые переводческие трансформации, а также отмечены трудности, возникающие при переводе. Основные положения исследования отражены в заключении, результат сравнительно-сопоставительно анализа представлен в виде диаграмм.

The title of the final qualification paper: Adaptation strategies for the translation of the English Literary Fairy Tale of the "The Golden Age" into the Russian Language. The aim of the final qualification paper: to determine the specific features of various adaptation strategies for the translation of the English Literary Fairy Tale of the "The Golden Age" into the Russian language. The object of the final qualification paper: the English Literary Fairy Tale of the "Golden Age". The length of this final qualification paper is 85 (without appendix), 77 sources were used. This final qualification paper consists of an introduction, two chapters (accompanied by results), a conclusion, a list of references, a list of abbreviated sources and an appendix (includes six diagrams). In the first part of the study, research on the features of fiction for children was carried out and the main characteristics of the English Literary Fairy Tale of the "Golden Age" were determined. Main adaptation strategies for the translation of fiction into Russian were also considered. In the second part of the study, comparative analysis of various translations of English literary tales of the "Golden Age" into the Russian language was made. Within the framework of the main adaptation strategies, the most commonly used translation transformations were identified, as well as key problems. Main foundations of the study are presented in the conclusion, the results of the comparative analysis are shown in the form of diagrams.
