Procurement Strategy of Grand Medical Company on the Chinese Market of Medical Equipment for Distribution in Russia

Abstract

Исследование было разработано с целью разработки рекомендаций по выбору продукта и поставщика для ООО «Гранд Медикал». Одной из основных предпосылок к написанию статьи стала текущая геополитическая ситуация в России, которая создавала потенциальные угрозы перебоев или сокращения поставок. Так, компания «Гранд Медикал» ищет потенциальных поставщиков медицинского оборудования в лице китайских компаний. Поэтому целью было найти медицинское оборудование и компанию, которая могла бы поставить соответствующее необходимое оборудование. Для достижения основной цели проекта был проведен PEST-анализ отраслей медицинского оборудования и рассмотрены основные закупочные процедуры. Затем были рассмотрены методологии выбора поставщиков и критерии выбора поставщиков. В последней части исследования были разработаны рекомендации по выбору компаний и продуктов. При разработке рекомендации учитывались сравнение КТ, основные бизнес-процессы взаимодействия, а также анализ китайского медицинского оборудования, выполненный SLEPT. Результатом работы является оценка эффективности проекта с учетом снижения рисков. Таким образом, исследование показало хорошую рентабельность проекта.

The study was designed according to the goal of development of recommendations for the choice of product and supplier for LLC “Grand Medical”. One of the main prerequisites for writing the paper was the current geopolitical situation in Russia, which created potential threats of interruptions or a decrease in supplies. Thus, the Grand Medical company is looking for potential suppliers of medical equipment in the face of Chinese companies. Therefore, the purpose was to find medical equipment and a company that could supply the appropriate required equipment. To achieve the main goal of the project, a PEST-Analysis of the medical equipment industries was carried out, and the main procurement procedures were considered. Next, supplier selection methodologies and supplier selection criteria were reviewed. In the last part of the study, recommendations were developed for choice of companies and products. To develop the recommendation, the comparison of CT scans, the main business processes of interaction, as well as the analysis of the Chinese medical equipment performed by the SLEPT were taken into account. The result of the work is an evaluation of the effectiveness of project, taking into account risk mitigation. Thus, the study showed a good profitability of the project.
