The thematic concept and the composition and graphic model of popular science publications

Abstract

Настоящий дипломный проект представляет собой разработку тематической концепции и композиционно-графической модели журнала «Маятник времен». Актуальность работы обусловлена, во-первых, растущим интересом аудитории к истории, любопытным фактам и трактовкам событий прошлого, желанием населения России знать и понимать причины происходивших в нашей стране событий, растущим вниманием к познанию и осознанию исторического опыта. Поэтому издание, в котором события истории освещаются не в отрыве от современности, а в тесной связи с ней, может быть востребовано аудиторией. Во-вторых, сектор журнальной периодики научно-популярного исторического характера в России развит довольно слабо. В настоящий момент существует всего один общенациональный научно-популярный исторический журнал. Поэтому новое издание может быть призвано расширить данный сегмент журнальной периодики и предоставить выбор аудитории. Новизна работы заключается в нескольких аспектах. Во-первых, это создание конкурентоспособного научно-популярного издания, способного удовлетворить запросы современного человека. Во-вторых, это визуальное исполнение проекта, в котором оформление тесно связано с тематикой и содержанием и отражает их особенности. Методы, использовавшиеся в данной работе, включают в себя исследовательские, такие как изучение научной литературы, анализ рынка и аудитории, индуктивный метод, и творческие, такие как проектирование и моделирование. Объектом исследования является современный российский медиарынок научно-популярных исторических изданий. Предметом исследования является моделирование (на примере журнала «Маятник времён») научно-популярного исторического издания. Цель проекта – создание тематической концепции и композиционно-графической модели научно-популярного исторического издания. Эмпирическую базу настоящей работы сформировали выпуски журналов «Дилетант» за 2014 – март 2016 года (всего 27 номеров) и «Ваш тайный советник» за 2015 – март 2016 года (17 номеров). Структура данной работы обусловлена ее целями и задачами. Она включает в себя введение, первую (теоретическую) и вторую (разработанный нами творческий проект) главы, заключение, список литературы и приложения.

This current diploma project is a development of a thematic concept and composition-graphic model of the magazine "The pendulum of time." Firstly, the relevance of this work is due to the increasing interest of the audience to the history, interesting facts and interpretations of past events, the desire of the Russian citizens to know and understand the causes occurring in our country events, the growing attention to the knowledge and understanding of the historical experience. Therefore, publication, which highlights the history of the event is not divorced from the present but in close connection with it, could be in great demand the by audience. Secondly, the magazine segment of popular science periodicals historical character in Russia developed rather poorly. At the moment, there is only one national scientific and popular history magazine. Therefore, the new edition could be designed to expand this segment of magazine periodicals and give the audience a choice. The novelty of the work is in several respects. The first is the creation of competitive scientific and popular publications that can satisfy the needs of modern man. Secondly, it is the visual execution of the project, in which the design is closely related to the themes and content, reflecting their features. This work includes methods of research, such as the study of scientific literature, analysis of the market and the audience, the inductive method, and creative, such as design and simulation. The object of research is contemporary Russian media market of popular science history publications. The subject of the study is to modeling (for example, the magazine "The pendulum of the times") popular science history publications. The purpose of the project - the creation of a thematic concept and composition-graphic model of scientific and popular historical publication. The empirical base of this paper formed the issues of the journals "Dabbler" for 2014 - March 2016 (in total 27 publications) and "Your secret adviser" for 2015 - March 2016 (17 publications). The structure of this work is due to its goals and objectives. It includes an introduction, the first (theoretical) and second (creative project, which is designed by ourself) chapters, conclusion, list of references and appendices.
