The role of the soil over consolidation ratio in the assessment of the lateral earth pressure for retaining walls design

Abstract

В данной работе рассмотрена роль учета коэффициента переуплотнения грунта (КПУ) в оценке бокового давления грунта при проектировании подпорных стенок. Также была рассмотрена применимость метода статического зондирования для оценки КПУ и применимость полученных результатов в расчете бокового давления. В общей части рассмотрены общие теоретические вопросы, такие как физико- географические условия участка, что представляет собой коэффициент переуплотнения грунта и боковое давление. В специальной части работы были представлены результаты обработки данных статического зондирования, которые позволили выделить инженерно-геологические элементы. Был произведен расчет коэффициента переуплотнения различными методиками по данным статического зондирования, определена связь между КПУ и боковым давлением. Вопрос о влиянии КПУ на оценку бокового давления грунта рассмотрен на примере объекта проектирования подземного сооружения в районе станции метро Звенигородская в г. Санкт- Петербург. Данная работа содержит 40 страниц изложенного материала, 11 рисунков, 4 таблицы, 3 листа графической части и список литературы из 17 наименований.

The role of the Overconsolidation Ratio (OCR) with respect to the estimation of In-situ Stress Ratio (K0) for design of retaining walls was considered in the present work. Futhermore, the applicability of the method of cone penetration test for estimation of the OCR was considered as well as the validity of the obtained results for calculation of K0. The theoretical questions, such as physics-geographical condition of the area, or what OCR and K0 is, are overviewed in the general part of the work. The special part of the work demostrate the results of the processing of the data acquired during cone penetration test. With the help of this results the engineer-geological elements have been extracted. The calculation of OCR has been performed by different approaches applied to the data of cone penetration test. The relation between OCR and K0 was also revealed. The question about inflience of the OCR on estimation of K0 has been considered by example of the project of underground bulding thay is supposed to be located near by Zvenigorodskaya metro station in St. Petersburg. The present work has 40 pages in total, containts 11 figures, 4 tables, 3 sheets of graphic information and the list of the references of 17 items.
