On monotonic rearrangements in BMO-space and Muckenhoupt classes

Abstract

В работе доказывается, что монотонная перестановка функции на отрезке не увеличивает норму в пространстве $BMО$, где норма определена как супремум по подотрезкам минимума средних p-отклонений от констант, $p \geq 1$. Кроме того, доказывается, что монотонная перестановка с квадрата на отрезок увеличивает $А_1$ характеристику непрерывных весов Макенхаупта не более, чем в 16/9 раз.

We prove that monotone rearrangement of a function on an interval does not increase the norm in BMO space, where the norm is defined as the supremum over subintervals of minimal mean p-deviation from constants, $p \geq 1$. In addition, it is proved that a monotonic rearrangement from a square to a segment increases the $A_1$ characteristic of a continuous Muckenhoupt weight by no more than 16/9 times.
