The image of the medieval city in the Chronicle of Guillaume de Nangis (died 1300)

Работа посвящена изучению образа средневекового французского города в "Хронике" Гийома де Нанжи, представляющей собой репрезентацию светской и сакральной иерархии общества Высокого средневековья с точки зрения апологета королевской власти. Автор стремиться воссоздать целостный образ города, включающий в себя социокультурные, политические, экономические аспекты.

The paper is devoted to the investigation of the image of French medieval city in the Chronicle of Guillaume de Nangis, which represents the secular and sacral hierarchy of society of the High Middle Ages from the point of view of the French kings’ apologist. The author aims to bring this image of the city into the context of the political, social and cultural medieval history.
