Restoration of gilt of a carved frame fragment of a ceremonial portrait of Nicolas II

Abstract

Цель работы - реставрация резной золоченой рамы конца 19 века к портрету Николая II. Выполнены следующие реставрационные мероприятия: укрепление грунта, расчистка поверхности от наслоений бронзовой краски, восполнение утрат левкаса, тонирование.

The aim of this work is restoration listel (fragment) of carved gilded frame for the portrait of Nicholas The Second. During restoration process were made such works: gesso consolidation, removing bronze paint layers, replication of gesso loss, toning.
