The nature and characteristics of the indoctrination of the Volkisch movement by their press during the Weimar Republic

Abstract

В данной выпускной квалификационной работе рассматриваются характер и особенности индоктринации фёлькишского движения через их прессу в немецком социальном пространстве в период Веймарской республики. После окончания первой мировой войны (1914-1918) и поражения, Германия оказалась в катастрофическом положении, немецкое общество было подавлено. Последствия этих событий стали питательной средой для становления народно-почвеннического движения фёлькише, которое поставило перед собой задачу возродить Германию, проведя этническую мобилизацию немецкой нации и объединив немцев во всем мире. Главным способом интеграции фёлькишского мировоззрения в немецкое социальное пространство являлась пресса. На основе анализа фёлькишских периодических изданий были выявлены три направления дискурса фёлькишского движения, которые сыграли роль инструмента этнической мобилизации немецкой нации в Веймарской республики и подготовили почву для становления тоталитарного режима.

This final qualifying work examines the nature and features of the indoctrination of the Völkisch movement through their press in the German social space during the Weimar Republic. After the end of the First World War (1914-1918) and defeat, Germany found itself in a catastrophic situation, German society was suppressed. The consequences of these events became a breeding ground for the formation of the Völkische national-soil movement, which set itself the task of reviving Germany, carrying out the ethnic mobilization of the German nation and uniting the Germans all over the world. The main way of integrating the Völkisch worldview into the German social space was the press. Based on the analysis of the Völkisch periodicals, three directions of the Völkisch movement discourse were identified, which played the role of an instrument of ethnic mobilization of the German nation in the Weimar Republic and paved the way for the formation of a totalitarian regime.
