Mathematical modelling of organizational life cycle of companies in the context of COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

Данная работа ставит задачу применения концепции Жизненного цикла организации в условиях пандемии, моделирования и анализа функционирования организации с учетом ее характерных отличий, изучения ее поведения при непредвиденных критических обстоятельствах. С учетом отличительных характеристик малого бизнеса и черт каждой стадии ЖЦО сформирована информационно-логическая модель, на основании которой производится построение математической модели. Применена методология Марковских процессов, а также проведено моделирование поведения системы в условиях пандемии с использованием метода Монте-Карло. Была обоснована возможность применения математических методов в рамках ЖЦО для определения воздействия пандемии на предприятие малого бизнеса, осуществляющего деятельность в сфере услуг.

This paper is concerned with applying the concept of the organizational life cycle in the context of pandemic, modeling and analyzing the functioning of an organization, taking into account its characteristic differences, and studying its behavior under unforeseen critical circumstances. Taking into account the distinctive characteristics of small businesses and the features of each stage of the organizational life cycle, an information-logical model has been formed, based on which a mathematical model is built. The methodology of Markov processes was applied, and the modeling of the system's behavior in a pandemic was carried out using the Monte Carlo method. The possibility of using mathematical methods within the framework of the organizational life cycle to determine the impact of the pandemic on a small business operating in the service sector was justified.
