Chinese cooperation with Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union in the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt

Abstract

В исследовании анализируется влияние на двусторонние отношения Китая и России, Китая и Евразийского экономического союза в рамках Экономического пояса Шелкового пути. Выявлена теоретическая составляющая инициативы Пояса и Пути, основанная на традиционных учениях, и на этом основании дан прогноз о предполагаемых действиях Китая для развития отношений со странами по маршруту ЭПШП. Выделены интересы, перспективы и вызовы для России от участия в ЭПШП с точки зрения российских и китайских экспертов и проанализировано взаимодействие России и Китая в рамках ЭПШП на современном этапе. Проведен сравнительный анализ Большого Евразийского партнерства и инициативы Пояса и Пути и выявлены перспективы и проблемы сопряжения ЕАЭС и ЭПШП. В исследовании используются материалы на русском, китайском и английском языках.

This paper investigates the impact of the cooperation in the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt on bilateral relations of China with Russia and Eurasian economic union. Analysis of traditional Chinese philosophical and political concepts reveals the theoretical bases of BRI and allows predicting possible progress in relations between China and its partners along the Silk Road Economic Belt. Paper provides detailed research on interests and prospects for Russia and bilateral Russia-China relations concerning BRI both from Russian and Chinese points of view. It reveals prospects and problems that accompany complex process of integrating EAEU and SREB and investigates other aspects of Eurasian integration. Authors of the paper appeal to the materials in Russian, Chinese and English languages.
