The struggle of Catalonia for independence as a crisis of Spanish Unitarianism

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена анализу проблемы сепаратизма в Испании на примере Каталонии. В работе изучена история Каталонии до и после вхождения в состав Испании с целью выявления основных причин и предпосылок появления и дальнейшего развития сепаратизма в этой стране. Так же рассмотрены возможные сценарии и последствия отделения региона от Испании.

This paper is devoted to the analysis of the problem of separatism in Spain on the example of Catalonia. The paper studies the history of Catalonia before and after its entry into Spain in order to identify the main causes and prerequisites for the emergence and further development of separatism in this country. Also considered possible scenarios and the consequences of the separation of the region from Spain.
