The methods of Great Britain`s multicultural environment formation in the beginning of the 21st century

Abstract

В начале XXI века моделью становления мультикультурной среды в Великобритании выступил мультикультурализм. Формирование британской мультикультурной среды в начале XXI века происходило при помощи различных методов, что включало в себя нормативно-правовую базу, функционирование политических институтов, общественных организаций, разработку программ в области культуры, а также специально разработанных мероприятий в различных сферах жизни общества. Тем не менее, увеличивающееся число противоречий, внешние угрозы способствовали тому, что британские власти усомнились в правильности избрания методов становления мультикультурной среды и объявили падение мультикультурализма.

At the beginning of the 21st century, multiculturalism was the model for the emergence of a multicultural environment in the United Kingdom. The formation of the British multicultural environment at the beginning of the XXI century took place through various methods, which included the regulatory framework, the functioning of political institutions, public organizations, the development of programs in the field of culture, as well as specially designed activities in various spheres of social life. Nevertheless, the increasing number of contradictions, external threats contributed to the fact that the British authorities questioned the correctness of the choice of methods for the formation of a multicultural environment and declared the fall of multiculturalism.
