High-tech companies in the semiconductor industry sector: Institutional analysis

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена изучению высокотехнологичных компаний в секторе полупроводниковой промышленности России с подробным рассмотрением АО «Росэлектроника», как основного представителя, а так же выделению институциональных проблем развития и направлений их решения. Полупроводниковый сектор лежит в основе жизненно важных секторов экономики, включая здравоохранение и медицинские приборы, телекоммуникацию, энергетику, финансы, транспорт, сельское хозяйство и производство, что обуславливает актуальность исследования. В соответствии с целью и задачами в первой главе был сформирован понятийный аппарат исследования и приведён обзор положения полупроводниковой промышленности в России. Рассмотрены основы институционального анализа полупроводникового сектора, в частности, дана общая характеристика институциональных барьеров и их форм проявления, выделены специфические характеристики этого сектора, как высокотехнологичного, а так же определены проблемы и направления развития отечественного сектора полупроводниковой промышленности. Во второй главе проведено изучение и сравнение институциональной структуры, стратегий на рынке и внутри фирмы ведущих мировых компаний сектора полупроводниковой промышленности, таких как Samsung Electronics, Intel и Huawei. Был сформирован вывод об общих моментах в деятельности рассматриваемых компаний, значении и пользе их опыта для развития полупроводникового сектора и государственного холдинга «Росэлектроника». Третья глава посвящена изучению АО «Росэлектроника» по тем же аспектам, что и компании - мировые лидеры сектора полупроводниковой промышленности. Проведён стратегический анализ, включающий в себя PEST и SWOT-анализ. Основываясь на полученных результатах анализа ведущих мировых компаний полупроводникового сектора, а так же институционального и стратегического анализа деятельности «Росэлектроники» были сформулированы предложения и рекомендации по развитию холдинга «Росэлектроника» и сектора полупроводниковой промышленности.

This final qualification work is devoted to the study of high-tech companies in the semiconductor industry sector of Russia with a detailed examination of JSC "Ruselectronics" as the main representative, as well as the identification of institutional development problems and directions for their solution. The semiconductor sector underlies of vital sectors of the economy, including healthcare and medical devices, telecommunications, energy, finance, transportation, agriculture and manufacturing, which makes the study relevant. In accordance with the purpose and objectives in the first chapter, a conceptual apparatus of research was formed and an overview of the situation of the semiconductor industry in Russia was given. The fundamentals of the institutional analysis of the semiconductor sector are considered, in particular, a general description of institutional barriers and their forms of manifestation is given, specific characteristics of this sector as high-tech are highlighted, and the problems and directions of development of the domestic sector of the semiconductor industry are identified. The second chapter examines and compares the institutional structure, strategies on the market and within the firm of the world's leading semiconductor companies, such as Samsung Electronics, Intel and Huawei. A conclusion was drawn about the general points in the activities of the companies under consideration, the significance and benefits of their experience for the development of the semiconductor sector and the state holding «Ruselectronics». The third chapter is devoted to the study of JSC "Ruselectronics" on the same aspects as companies - the world leaders in the semiconductor industry. A strategic analysis was carried out, including PEST and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of an analysis of the world's leading companies in the semiconductor sector, as well as institutional and strategic analysis of the activities of «Ruselectronics», proposals and recommendations on the development of the holding of «Ruselectronics» and the semiconductor industry sector were formulated.
