The linguocultural aspect of Russian conventional similes with negative characteristics of human behaviour (against the background of the Chinese language)

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация посвящена лингвокультурологическому анализу русских устойчивых сравнений, описывающих отрицательно оцениваемое поведение человека, на фоне их аналогов в китайском языке. В работе представлена идеографическая классификация 141 единицы русского языка и 109 единиц китайского языка, выявлены лакунарные относительно китайского языка группы русских устойчивых сравнений. Проведен анализ количественного наполнения отдельных разрядов русских сравнений на фоне китайских единиц, а также гендерных различий. Детальному лингвокультурологическому анализу подвергнуты две самые объемные группы русских устойчивых сравнений – характеризующих неискреннее и назойливое поведение. Выявлена национально-культурная специфика русских устойчивых сравнений относительно китайского языка, заключающаяся в выборе эталона той или иной тематической группы, основания сравнения, мотивированности сравнения.

Master thesis is devoted to the linguocultural analysis of Russian sustainable comparisons describing negatively evaluated human behavior against their counterparts in the Chinese language. The paper presents the ideographic classification of 141 Russian units and 109 Chinese units, reveals groups of Russian sustainable comparisons lacunary concerning Chinese. The analysis of quantitative filling of separate categories of the Russian comparisons against the Chinese units and also gender distinctions is carried out. Two most voluminous groups of the Russian sustainable comparisons characterizing insincere and importunate behavior are subjected to the detailed linguocultural analysis. National and cultural specifics of the Russian steady comparisons concerning Chinese which consist in the choice of a standard of one or another theme group, basis of comparison, motivation of comparison are revealed.
