Sayings from Ivan Krylov’s fables translation into Czech

Abstract

Магистерская работа посвящена исследованию чешских переводов басен И. А. Крылова. В теоретической части работы производятся наблюдения над феноменом непереводимого в переводе, рассматриваются реалии басен И. А. Крылова, исследуется вопрос определения термина «крылатое выражение», рассматриваются функции крылатых выражений и их особая роль в переводе, приводится классификация способов перевода крылатых выражений. В практической части работы особенности текстов басен как объекта перевода; приводится краткая история русско-чешских изданий басен И. А. Крылова и состояние русско-чешских переводов со второй половины XIX века до нашего времени. Также производится общий анализ перевода басен И. А. Крылова пятью переводчиками: M. Hynek (1886), V. Najbrt (1939), I. Hálek (1947), H. Vrbová (1976), M. Dvořák (2011). Анализ включает оценку способов перевода, использованных переводчиком, сохранение или изменение ритмической структуры басни, адекватность передачи крылатых выражений, ономастические коллизии, другие особенности творческой манеры переводчика. Особое место во второй части работы отведено анализу перевода крылатых выражений. В третьей главе работы приводятся результаты анализа гипертекстового поля использования крылатых выражений басен И. А. Крылова в чешском языке на материале Чешского национального корпуса (корпус SYN verze 8 в функции «Контекст») и Интернет-ресурсов. Также на основе анализа автором предлагается список самых известных крылатых выражений басен И. А. Крылова и их перевод на чешский язык, который мог бы использоваться при отборе материала для пока не изданного Русско-чешского и Чешского-русского словаря крылатых выражений.

The master's thesis is devoted to the study of Czech translations of Krylov’s fablesIn the theoretical part of our work we made observations on phenomenon of untranslatable in translation; examined the realities of I. Krylov's fables; studied the issue of the definition of the term “wingedexpression”; studied the functions of winged expressionsand and their special role in translation; suggested classification of ways of translation of winged expressions. In the practical part of the work, the peculiarities of the texts of fables as an object of translation; a brief history of the Russian-Czech editions of I. Krylov's fables and the state of Russian-Czech translations from the second half of the 19th century to our time is given. There is also a general analysis of the translation of the fables by I. Krylov by five translators: M. Hynek (1886), V. Najbrt (1939), I. Hálek (1947), H. Vrbová (1976), M. Dvořák (2011). The analysis includes an assessment of the translation methods used by the translator, the preservation or change of the rhythmic structure of the fable, the adequacy of the transmission of winged expressions, onomastic collisions, and other features of the translator's creative manner. A special place in the second part of the work is devoted to the analysis of the translation of popular expressions. The third chapter of the thesis presents the results of the analysis of the hypertext field of using the winged expressions of the fables of I. Krylov in the Czech language on the material of the Czech National Corpora (Corpora SYN 8) and Internet resources. Also, based on the analysis, the author proposes a list of the most famous winged expression of the fables of I. Krylov and their translation into Czech, which could be used in the selection of material for the yet unpublished Russian-Czech and Czech-Russian dictionary of winged expression.
