Главной характеристикой современного мира является уже не глобализация, а набирающая обороты регионализация, при сохраняющейся сильнейшей взаимозависимости государств. То есть, современная регионализация представляет собой форму новой структуры глобального мира - глобальный регионализм. Происходит активный процесс выделения новых лидеров, изменение геоэкономической и геополитической структуры нового мира. Таким образом, одним из основных акторов выступает регион.

The main characteristic of the modern world is no longer globalization, but regionalization that is gaining momentum, while the strongest interdependence of states persists. That is, modern regionalization is a form of a new structure of the global world - global regionalism. There is an active process of selection of new leaders, a change in the geo-economic and geopolitical structure of the new world. Thus, the region is one of the main actors.
