Intersystem borrowings and semantic models in the terminology system of new media art

Abstract

В работе предпринимается попытка проанализировать семантические модели образования единиц в терминосистеме “Искусство новых медиа” и систематизировать источники их заимствования. В первую очередь мы остановились на понятии термин. В работе мы опирались на определении термина как словарной единицы, которая конкретно относится к общему теоретическому понятию в определенном языке. Исследуя термины ИНМ, мы обнаружили, что большинство терминов находятся в областях, связанных с компьютерными технологиями, а также “Computer Environment”, “Further Activities”, “Malfunction”, “New Media Artwork Attributes & properties”, “Manifestation and Reception”, “Types of NMA Artwork”, “Art Practices”. В практической части также описаны семантические модели трех основных типов терминологических единиц исследуемой области: 1) Двухкомпонентными одноядерными терминами; 2) Трехкомпонентными одноядерными терминами; 3) Четырехкомпонентнымм одноядерными терминами.

The paper attempts to analyze the semantic models of the formation of units in the term system “The art of new media” and systematize the sources of their borrowing. First of all, we focused on the concept of a term. In this paper, we relied on the definition of a term as a dictionary unit that specifically refers to a general theoretical concept in a particular language. Examining the terms INM, we found that most of the terms are in areas related to computer technology, as well as "Computer Environment”, “Further Activities”, “Dysfunction”, “New Media Artwork Attributes & properties”, “Manifestation and Reception”, “Types of NMA Artwork”, "Art Practices". The practical part also describes the semantic models of the three main types of terminological units of the study area: 1) Two-component single-core terms; 2) Three-component single-core terms; 3) Four-component single-core terms.
