Работа посвящена анализу глаголов в форме Passato remoto на основе тосканской версии «Книги о миллионе» Марко Поло, которая является ценным памятником итальянского языка XIII века. Работа состоит пяти глав, введения, заключения и списка литературы. Целями работы является выявление употребления глаголов в форме Passato remoto, систематизирование их согласно выбранной классификации и анализ вариантов их развития. Основными задачами является рассмотрение явлений, встретившихся в формах Passato remoto, подробное изучение их на практике, составление графиков и необходимые выводы. Объектом исследования являются глаголы в форме Passato remoto, а предметом – то, как они используются в выбранном источнике. В данной работе автор опирается на научные труды как отечественных, так и зарубежных авторов.

ABSTRACT for a graduate thesis for the degree of Master of Arts in Linguistics Kirel Alesia Forms of verbs in past historic tense on the base of Tuscan version of Marco Polo`s book “Book of the Marvels of the world” The thesis is dedicated to the analysis of verbs in form of past historic tense, on the base of Tuscan version of Marco Polo`s book “Book of the Marvels of the world”, which is a valuable record of Italian language of the 13th century. The study consists of three parts, introduction and conclusion. The thesis focuses on survey of historical and cultural situation of 13th century in Italy, development of historic past tense from Latin, dialectal and historical peculiarities. Verbs are explored in details and ordered according to classification. The main goal of research is to systematize verbs, to reveal their use, to make diagrams and conclusion. The study includes a review of works by Italian linguists. Thesis reveals absence of linguistic codification on this stage of development and presence of numerous variations of past historic tense formation.
