The study of the geological structure of the perspective ore-bearing area in the Northern Karelia based on audiomagnetotelluric sounding data

Abstract

Выполнена оценка возможности применения метода аудиомагнитотеллурических зондирований (АМТЗ) при изучении геологического строения Тикшеозерского массива (Северная Карелия). Рассмотрены геологические особенности Тикшеозерского массива и его рудоносность. По результатам обработки данных АМТЗ и электротомографии (ЭТ) построено пять вариантов геоэлектрических моделей – разрезы по 2D инверсии данных ТМ и ТЕ мод, эффективного импеданса, ЭТ, а также по данным комплекса ЭТ и эффективного импеданса. Основными моделями для геологической интерпретации стали разрезы, построенные по данным инверсии кривых эффективного импеданса, а также с привлечением данных ЭТ. Анализ результатов инверсии показал высокую степень неоднородности в верхней части разреза. Были выделены разрывные нарушения, по которым могли перемещаться магматические расплавы. По результатам работ выделена проводящая потенциально рудоперспективная зона. Работа включает в себя 57 страниц, 5 глав, 31 иллюстрацию, 23 литературных и фондовых источника.

An assessment of the possibility of using the method of audiomagnetotelluric sounding (AMTS) in the study of geological structure of the Tiksheozersky massif (North Karelia) is carried out. Geological features of the Tiksheozersky massif and its ore content are considered. Based on the results of processing the AMTS and electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) data, five variants of geoelectric models were derived - sections according to 2D inversion of the TM and TE modes, effective impedance, ERT, as well as using complex of ERT and effective impedance data. The main models for geological interpretation were sections derived from the inversion of the effective impedance curves, as well as AMTS and ERT data. Analysis of the inversion results showed a high degree of heterogeneity in the upper part of the section. Faults were identified, along which magmatic melts could move. Based on the results of the work, a conductive potentially ore-promising zone was mapped. The volume of work includes 57 pages, 5 chapters, 31 illustrations, 23 literature and fund sources.
