National construction in the context of growing multiculturalism of Russian society: A case study of Moscow and Saint Petersburg

Abstract

Работа состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, списка литературы и приложений. Во введении раскрывается актуальность выбранной темы, определяются объект и предмет исследования, цель работы и исследовательские задачи, формулируются рабочие гипотезы. Кроме того, введение содержит информацию о методологии и методах, применявшихся в процессе создания работы, а также включает в себя краткий обзор литературы, характеризующей степень разработанности темы исследования. Первая глава носит теоретический характер, состоит из двух параграфов. В первом параграфе рассматриваются теоретические концепции, с помощью которых объясняются возможные сценарии адаптации и аккультурации этнических меньшинств и мигрантов. Рассмотрены теории Дж. Берри, Ф. Бока, М. Гордона, К. Додда, Р. Линтона, Р. Редфилда, М. Херсковица. Второй параграф посвящен концепции интегральной воспринимаемой угрозы У. и К. Стефанов. Вторая глава посвящена рассмотрению восприятия феномена российской гражданской нации. Глава включает три параграфа, в первом из которых отражен исторический опыт формирования национального государства и гражданской нации в России. Во втором параграфе проанализировано отражение концепта российской гражданской нации в Стратегии государственной национальной политики России и в программах ряда российских парламентских политических партий. В третьем параграфе рассмотрены стратегические программы и реализация мер по поддержке и формированию межнационального согласия в Москве и Санкт-Петербурге. Третья глава носит практический характер, в ней освещены результаты исследования отношения москвичей и петербуржцев к иноэтничным мигрантам. Первый параграф раскрывает методические подробности проведенного исследования, а во втором параграфе представлена интерпретация интернет-опроса жителей Москвы и Петербурга, проведенного в феврале – апреле 2021 года. В заключении обобщается проделанная работа, формулируются выводы о состоянии гражданской нации в России в целом и о перспективах включения в нее представителей этнических меньшинств и мигрантов. Текст работы состоит из 80 страниц машинописного текста (с учетом списка литературы и приложений – 118 страниц). Для написания использован 81 источник.

The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography and annexes. The introduction reveals the relevance of the chosen topic, determines the object and subject of research, the purpose of the work and research tasks, and formulates working hypotheses. In addition, the introduction contains information about the methodology and methods used in the process of creating the work, and also includes a brief review of the literature characterizing the degree of development of the research topic. The first chapter is theoretical and consists of two sections. In the first paragraph, theoretical concepts are considered, with the help of which the possible scenarios of adaptation and acculturation of ethnic minorities and migrants are explained. The theories of J. Berry, F. Bock, M. Gordon, C. Dodd, R. Linton, R. Redfield, M. Herskovits are considered. The second paragraph is devoted to the concept of integral perceived threat by W. & C. Stefanov. The second chapter is devoted to the consideration of the perception of the phenomenon of the Russian civil nation. The chapter includes three paragraphs, the first of which reflects the historical experience of the formation of a national state and a civil nation in Russia. The second paragraph analyzes the reflection of the concept of the Russian civil nation in the Strategy of the State National Policy of Russia and in the programs of a number of Russian parliamentary political parties. The third paragraph discusses strategic programs and implementation of measures to support and form interethnic harmony in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The third chapter is of a practical nature, it highlights the results of a study of the attitude of Muscovites and Petersburgers to migrants of other ethnicities. The first paragraph reveals the methodological details of the study, and the second paragraph provides an interpretation of the Internet survey of residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg, conducted in February - April 2021. The conclusion summarizes the work done, formulates conclusions about the state of the civil nation in Russia as a whole and about the prospects for including representatives of ethnic minorities and migrants in it. The text of the work consists of 80 pages of typewritten text (taking into account the list of references and applications - 118 pages). 81 sources were used for writing.
