Information war between the Russian Federation and the United States of America in the context of the political crisis in Ukraine (November, 2013 - Minsk Protocol, 2014)

Abstract

В данной работе автор анализирует причины формирования современного информационного общества, а также последствия его становления. Благодаря широкому распространению современных технологий становится возможным оказание информационного воздействия на мировую общественность. Данный факт влечет за собой соответствующие изменения в международных отношениях, примером чему служит информационное противостояние США и РФ в контексте политического кризиса на Украине.

In the present study, the author analyzes the reasons for the formation of a modern information society and the consequences of its establishment. Due to the wide spread of modern technology it becomes possible to implement information influence on the world community. This fact leads to the changes in the international relations accordingly, as exemplified by information warfare between the USA and the Russian Federation in the context of the political crisis in Ukraine.
