Information technology as part of intellectual labour: The case of the research sphere

Abstract

Наука, как и система образования, является центральным институтом во всех современных обществах. Все больше само существование современного общества зависит от передового научного знания. От развития науки зависят не только материальные условия существования общества, но и представление об окружающем мире. Развитие научно-исследовательских институтов и высших учебных заведений невозможно без создания и совершенствования инфраструктуры информатизации, которая заключается в информатизации интеллектуальной̆ деятельности за счет использования информационных и телекоммуникационных технологий. Стремительное развитие информационных технологий предвещает серьезные социальные последствия. Все более явно выявляется решающая роль качества информации в деле повышения эффективности как научного, промышленного, так и социального развития. Лидирующие в развитии программного обеспечения, совершенствовании компьютерного оборудования, компьютеризации науки и производства, лидируют сегодня в научном и промышленном прогрессе.

Science, as the education system is the central institution in all modern societies. The existence of modern society depends on advanced scientific knowledge. From the development of science depends not only on the material conditions of existence of society, but also the view of the outside world. The development of scientific research institutes and institutions of higher education is not possible without creating and improving the infrastructure of information, which is information of intellektual activities through the use of information and telecommunication technologies. The rapid development of information technology portends serious social consequences. Clearly revealed the crucial role of quality information to improve the efficiency as a scientific, industrial and social development. Leading in the development of software, updating of computer equipment, computerization of science and industry, the lead today in the scientific and industrial progress.
