Research of AI Healthcare Companies in AI Race Leading Countries Based on Crunchbase Dataset

Abstract

Целью данной исследовательской работы является рассмотрение компаний ИИ в области здравоохранения в странах-лидерах ИИ, выявление и анализ их уникальных особенностей и характеристик их инвесторов, а также оценка уровня развития ИИ компаний в области здравоохранения в ведущий странах ИИ на основе данных от платформы Crunchbase. По результатам обзора литературы выявлен пробел в исследованиях и определены соответствующие направления для анализа уровня развития искусственного интеллекта в странах, а именно анализ пяти современных индексов ИИ и национальных стратегий стран по развитию ИИ. После определения наиболее развитых стран ИИ (США, Китай, Великобритания, Германия и Сингапур) компании ИИ в области здравоохранения и их венчурные инвесторы, расположенные в пяти наиболее развитых странах ИИ, анализируются с помощью Excel и SPSS-инструментов. Согласно полученным результатам, США являются бесспорным лидером в области ИИ вообще и в области ИИ в здравоохранении, в частности. В качестве вариантов применения исследования на практике, были представлены две формулы для оценки привлекательности ИИ компаний в области здравоохранения и их венчурных инвесторов.

The goal of the research paper is to consider AI Healthcare companies in AI leading countries, identify and analyze their and their investors’ unique features, and estimate how developed in terms of AI Healthcare companies AI leading countries are based on Crunchbase dataset. Following the literature review, research gap is defined, and appropriate directions for the analysis of countries’ AI development level are chosen, namely the analysis of five up-to-the-date AI indexes and AI national policies. After identifying AI most developed countries (the USA, China, the UK, Germany and Singapore), AI Healthcare companies and their venture investors located in these five AI most developed countries are analysed through Excel and SPSS analysis. According to the results, the USA are the undisputed leader in AI in general, and in AI Healthcare in particular. Practical implications of the results of the research are covered, presenting as addition two formulas for AI Healthcare companies and venture investors’ attractiveness assessment.
