The investigating algorithms of crack position determination based on imagery processing and photogrammetry methods

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена использованию методов обработки изображений в задаче детектирования трещин на зданиях и сооружениях. В исследовании выполнен обзор существующих методов определения трещин, основанных на обработке снимков, описан принцип их действий. Особое внимание уделено фильтру Габора, основное применение которого заключается в выделении контуров на изображениях. В исследовании рассмотрен принцип работы данного фильтра, разработан алгоритм предварительной обработки изображений, направленной на повышение качества выделения трещин. Приведено описание экспериментов для оценки влияния на работу алгоритма таких факторов, как цифровой шум и дальность съёмки в совокупности с толщиной трещин. Представленный метод был проверен как на смоделированных трещинах, так и на реальных объектах, причём и на одиночных снимках, и на ортофотопланах фасадов зданий. Анализ проверки алгоритма и графические материалы экспериментов приведены в работе. Также был затронут вопрос измерения толщин трещин, в работе представлен метод, основанный на зависимости между интенсивностью пикселей изображения трещины и её толщиной. Результаты данной работы могут быть использованы для реализации предложенного алгоритма в программном продукте и введении его в практическое использование.

This graduate work is focused on the using of image processing methods in the task of detecting cracks in buildings and structures. The research reviews the existing methods of crack detection based on image processing and describes the principle of their operation. Special attention is paid to the Gabor filter, the main application of which is to detection contours in images. In the research the principle of this filter operation is considered, an algorithm of image pre-processing is developed, aimed at improving the quality of crack detection. The description of experiments to estimate the influence of such factors as digital noise and shooting range in combination with the thickness of cracks on the algorithm operation is given. The proposed method was tested both on simulated cracks and on real objects. Testing on real objects was carried out both on single images and on orthophotoplans of building facades. The analysis of algorithm checking and graphical materials of experiments are given in work. The issue of measuring crack thicknesses was also touched upon; a method based on the dependence between the pixel intensity of the crack image and its thickness is presented in the research. The results of this work can be used to implement the proposed algorithm in the software product and introduce it into practical use.
