Tectonics of Usunakhmat sheet in the Talass Alatau Ridge, Tien Shan

Тема: Тектоника Узунахматской зоны хребта Таласский Алатау, Северный Тянь-Шань. Хребет Таласский Алатау, находящийся в Северном Тянь-Шане, является складчато-надвиговым сооружением и характеризуется сложным строением, с наличием зон, отличающихся по типу разреза и стилю деформаций. Объектом исследования является Узунахматский блок, необычный стиль деформаций которого связан с близостью к Таласо-Ферганскому разлому. Целью работы являлось изучение строения и деформации Узунахматского блока хребта Таласский Алатау, сформировавшегося как единая тектоническая структура в результате каледонского орогенеза. В регионе были проведены структурные наблюдения по профилям вдоль долин рек Чиимташ и Шильбили, отобрано 32 ориентированных образца для петрографического описания и количественной оценки деформации, построен сбалансированный разрез по профилю вдоль долины р. Чиимташ. В результате работы была выявлена деформационная зональность как перпендикулярная простиранию складчато-надвиговой системы, так и параллельная ей. Эллипсоид деформации представлен эллипсоидом трехосного сплющивания. Оси удлинения эллипсоидов ориентированы параллельно шарнирам складок и простиранию основных геологических структур. В центральной части Узунахматского блока сокращение поверхности происходило преимущественно за счет складкообразования. С продвижением на юго-восток увеличивается роль разрывной тектоники и уменьшается величина сокращения поверхности c 65% до 34% на расстоянии около 15 км.

The Talas Alatau Ridge, located in the Northern Tien Shan, is a folding-thrust structure and is characterized by a complex structure, with the presence of zones that differ in type of section and style of deformation. The object of the study is the Uzunakhmatsk block, an unusual style of deformation which is associated with proximity to the Talas-Fergana fault. The goal of the work was to study the structure and deformation of the Uzunakhmati block of the Talas Alatau ridge, which was formed as a single tectonic structure as a result of the Caledonian orogenesis. In the region, structural observations were made of profiles along the valleys of the Chiimtash and Shilbili rivers, 32 oriented samples were selected for petrographic description and quantification of the deformation, a balanced cross section was made along the profile along the r. Chiimhtash. As a result of the work, the deformation zonality was revealed both perpendicular to the strike of the fold-thrust system and parallel to it. The strain ellipsoid is represented by a triaxial flattening ellipsoid. The axes of elongation of the ellipsoids are oriented parallel to the hinges of the folds and the strike of the main geological structures. In the central part of the Uzunakhmatsky block, the surface reduction occurred mainly due to folding. With the advance to the southeast, the role of discontinuous tectonics increases and the size of the surface reduction decreases from 65% to 34% at a distance of about 15 km.
